Young Tramore man Reece Coyne has been crowned Junior Super Sport Champion for 2021 at the Dunlop Masters Superbike Championships in Mondello Park today.
Reece came home second today behind AJ Carey but it was enough for the teenager who is viewed as a hot prodigy in the sport to take home the season's title.
Reece has taken the Dunlop Masters Junior Supersport championship by storm this year. Under the guidance of Jim Halligan, Reece had earlier built a 70 point lead in the table as well as capturing the Mondello International lap record along the way.
With 7 race wins already under his belt by mid-September and points banked in almost every race in 2021, Reece capped off a superb season with victory today.
