Séamus Power leads the Bermuda Championship having entered the clubhouse on -18 following a third consecutive round of 65 this evening.

The Touraneena man carded a -6 65 on Thursday, and followed that up with the same on Friday, before shooting the exact same score today to take the lead and give himself a golden opportunity to land a second PGA Tour win tomorrow.

The world number 48 began the day on -12, and beginning on the back nine once again, he got his round rolling with a birdie on the par four eleventh, though he did momentarily stutter with a double bogey on the par three thirteenth.

Regaining his composure, Séamus fought back to knock in two consecutive birdies at the 16th and 17th to make the turn at -13, before launching an assault on the front nine at Port Royal.

The Barbasol Championship winner then caught fire knocking in four consecutive birdies from the second to the fifth to move up into a share of the lead with American Ben Griffin, before Séamus moved into the outright advantage when finishing his round with another birdie at the par 4 9th to close off the first 54 holes on a score of -18.

Power now shares the lead with Griffin with both having concluded their rounds, their nearest challengers being Kevin Yu and Aaron Baddeley who are two shots further back on -16.

Power will be last out on the tee box tomorrow, and should he manage to card another 65, it would go a long way to landing him another career-changing victory which would secure his place at the Masters and Tour Championship, but most importantly it would guarantee his card until 2025.
