County board chairman Sean Michael O'Regan hopes that the redevelopment of Walsh Park will start in the next couple of weeks. He says that they are nearly ready to begin Phase 1 of the project. "We're very close. We have a couple of discussions to have with Croke Park, we have a couple of discussions to have with the Government but we're very, very close. We'd still be very hopeful to start in the next week, week and a half."
