Dunmore's Lily Larkin is celebrating a significant international dressage victory, having captured the CDIP Freestyle in Haras de Jardy, France on Sunday.
Lily came in first place for Ireland with a score of 72.550 in the Pony Riders Freelance Test aboard Blokland's Hoeves Amor, seeing off Agata Zakhrabekova of Azerbaijan to claim the gold medal.
Waterford Hunt Pony Club were among those to congratulate Lily on her achievement.
"Massive congratulations to our inspirational Lily Larkin winning the CDI Pony Freestyle in Jardy, France. She was 2nd on Friday in the team test. And 3rd yesterday in the individual. Breaking the 70% barrier to win today’s freestyle with 72.55%. We are so proud of you Lily and these amazing results - the future of Irish dressage is in great hands!".
