Former Waterford full forward Anthony Kirwan says that a yellow sliotar should be trialed in floodlit hurling matches.
Kirwan is one of the founders of Star Champ sliotars and he feels that it would help umpires after Clare's Tony Kelly had a point ruled out against Cork last weekend. The yellow ball was already used in the Fenway Hurling Classic last November. "I've tested it myself and it's easier to see at night time under lights. It's definitely something that needs to be looked at for the future."
