Kerry Football Club look likely to become the latest team to join the ranks if the League Of Ireland.
Kerry clubs have until now had to play in the underage National Leagues
The FAI have announced that the club are to begin the licensing process which could bring senior games to Mounthawk Park by February 2023.
Former league player, and Tralee native, Billy Dennehy has headed up the effort with assistance from American-based directors Steven Conway and Brian Ainscough.
