Kelyn Cassidy claims fourth successive National Elite title

Kelyn Cassidy of Saviours Crystals has won his fourth National Elite Boxing Championships title.

The 27-year-old outclassed his opponent, James Whelan of Dublin Docklands 5-0 in the mens’ 80kg final to retain his title for the fourth year running.

Meanwhile, Zara Breslin of Tramore lost out in the women’s 60kg final - losing out 5-0 to Kellie McLoughlin of St. Catherine’s Dublin.
