Former Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins fears that four weeks in a row may be a bridge too far for Waterford in Saturday's All Ireland semi final against Limerick.

The five time All Star says that it's a gruelling schedule for Liam Cahill's side:

"Looking at it coldly, it has to be a concern. I think it's grossly unfair that Waterford have to play four weekends in a row.

"It's not really in the spirit of the championship, it's not the way it should be. It is certainly something that Liam Cahill will have to factor in when he rolls the bench.

"There will be no excuses in that Waterford camp but from the outside looking in, it's certainly a tall order to go four weekends in a row especially when the fourth one is the All Ireland champions."

Hear more from Brendan Cummins on the Lár Na Páirce All Ireland semi final preview with Tomas McCarthy from 6.10pm on Friday on WLR.
