Ardmore will take on Cork side St Catherine's in the Munster Junior Hurling Quarter Final at 1.30 on Saturday in Fraher Field.

Brothers Declan and Seamus Prendergast have been part of the Ardmore adult team since the late 90s. Declan still enjoys lining out for the club. "As long as we stay injury free, it's great to be able to play. To go down and meet all the young lads that are coming through. We're guiding the younger lads and giving them the nourishment to keep going. We have a few good young lads coming through this year. Look, we're a small parish, very small numbers so that's why we're able to keep going. We're getting the game time!"

Ardmore went all the way in this competition five years ago. The Seasiders defeated St Mogues of Wexford after extra time and Declan led the team up the famous Hogan Stand steps. "It was a great achievement for myself and Seamus to climb the steps of Croke Park. When we finished with Waterford, we thought we would never be back there again. The following days, they were special being honest. Nearly all of West Waterford came to Ardmore! It was very special."
