De La Salle will seek their first county senior camogie title on Saturday. For the third time in five years, they will face Gailltir in the final.

Beth Carton has been part of the De La Salle journey since the camogie club was created in 2008. She has won junior and intermediate titles but a senior medal is missing from her collection. "Club is everything, especially to myself and my family. Even when we're away with the county squad, the girls are pushing it and the management. It would mean everything. I started with the boys and went from there when I was ten. My dad and Derek Healy would have been two of the founding members of the camogie club. It's grown massively. There's serious work going on."

Waterford legend John Mullane is part of the De La Salle backroom team. "We are extremely lucky to have him in De La Salle. A brilliant clubman. What he has done for the camogie club is phenomenal."
