All Star forward Niamh Rockett is back for her fifteenth season in a Waterford shirt. She feels that camogie is growing in popularity in the county.
"Seeing all the support and the young girls in Waterford picking up a hurley has been phenomenal. The profile of camogie is rising. Hopefully, we can go a step further and leave that jersey in a better place and try to inspire more younger girls to come and play. The more successful we are, the more girls will want to play."
Waterford will be away to Offaly in the first round of the All Ireland series on Saturday evening. Sean Power's side won by 22 points when the sides met in the league.
