Cork have handed Limerick a rare championship defeat in the Munster hurling round-robin today.

The Rebels needed a late penalty from Pa Horgan to beat the All Ireland champions by 3-28 to 3-26.

Meanwhile, the Leinster hurling championship experienced another shock this evening.

Carlow came back from the dead to record a 1-20 to 1-20 draw with Kilkenny at Netwatch Cullen Park

Dublin had no problems in their game with Antrim coming away from Parnell Park with a 3-32 to 1-18 win.

London got their first championship win for 11 years with an opening victory in the Tailteann Cup today.

They got the better of Offaly by 2-20 to 0-12 in Tullamore this afternoon.

Elsewhere, there were wins for Sligo, Down and Fermanagh, who beat Wexford, Limerick and Wicklow respectively.

Leitrim got their first win of the campaign with a 0-17 to 0-12 win over Waterford, while Kildare put Longford to the sword 3-25 to 1-11.
