Seamus Power returns to action today when he tees off in the CJ Cup in South Carolina on the PGA Tour.

The Touraneena native was last in action when he missed the cut at the Shriners Childrens Open earlier this month.

Rory McIlroy is the title holder for the CJ Cup, and he'll have to fend off a further five of the world's top ten golfers if he's to defend his title at the Congaree Golf Club.

Power will tee off at 5.13pm Irish time this evening in the company of South Korea's K.H Lee and Colombia's Sebastian Munoz.

McIlroy is paired with South Korea's Tom Kim and England's Tommy Fleetwood and goes out at 3.20pm.

Power will begin this week ranked 46th in the world golf rankings, while McIlroy begins in second.

Shane Lowry is also in action in South Carolina - he tees off from 2.39pm with Matt Fitzpatrick and Jason Day.
