Having been to Monte Carlo, Sweden, Croatia, Portugal, Italy and Kenya, the latest stop on the WRC calendar is Estonia.

The four days of racing in the Baltic State marks the halfway point in the championship year with everything still to play for in the standings.

2022 is just the third year that Estonia features at the top table, but in two of those years Waterford's Craig Breen has stood on the podium picking up second place on both occasions.

It's a mix of gravel roads and forest tracks which drivers will have to contend with, where the pace is relentless from start to finish.

The first stage gets underway this evening from 6.40 Irish time with Breen sitting fifth in Championship standings ahead of the off.

His most recent event at the Safari Rally Kenya ended all too soon with a mechanical issue on day two quenching his chances of a maiden win at the top table.

Championship leader Kalle Rovanpera is the pre-race favorite. He holds a 65-point advantage of the top of the Championship table.
