Blues demolish Harps to get back to winning ways

Finn Harps 0 Waterford FC 4

Waterford got back on the winning trail with a comprehensive four nil win over a ragged Finn Harps side at Finn Park.

Waterford enjoyed the majority of possession and were never really troubled by Harps except for a five minute period towards the end of the first half.

The opening goal came minutes after a disallowed goal from Killian Cantwell who turned provider for Darragh Power and he slotted home from close range with his left foot.

The lead was doubled six minutes after the break when Cantwell found Christie Pattisson and his surging run ended with an excellent ball to Cameron Cresswell who fired home.

A mistake from Matty Makinson allowed Dean McMenamy to run clean through and his shot came off both uprights before nestling in the net and the game was safe when McMenamy got his second when he finished another sweeping Blues move on 67 minutes.

The only downside was a bad tackle on Conor Parsons which resulted in a red card for Noe Baba and the Waterford winger played no further part in the game.
