Seamus Power has entered the clubhouse in a tie for fourth place following a second consecutive round of -6 65 at the Bermuda Championship on the PGA Tour.
The Touraneena native is two shots off the lead, which is currently being held by American Ben Crane on -14, after he carded an impressive round of 62 this afternoon.
Power began his round on the back nine, and his day got off to a stuttering start - with his sole bogey of the day coming at the tenth hole.
However, that slump was quickly arrested as he birdied the par four 11th to kick-start a surge up the leaderboard.
The world number 48 carded birdies on the 14th, 16th and 18th to take the turn at -9 and in a tie for 8th place.
He made another three birdies on the front nine, sinking in at the second before back-to-back birdies at the sixth and seventh propelled him up to a tie for fourth position.
Seamus is the highest ranked golfer in the field and will be seeking a second PGA Tour win heading into the weekend.
A win would guarantee him a place at both the Masters and the PGA Championship, as well as securing his card until at least 2025.
