Ben McCormack signs on with the Blues

Waterford FC have made their third signing ahead of the 2024 Premier Division campaign.

Ben McCormack will be pulling on a blue shirt at the RSC in February having made the switch from St. Pats.

The 20-year-old McCormack made 24 appearances for Pat's in 2023, featuring for the club 72 times since 2020.

A Dublin native, McCormack has plenty of experience in the League Of Ireland as well as in a Republic Of Ireland jersey having represented his country from U15 level right up to U19.

In his time at Pat's, Ben has won two FAI Cups in 2021 and 2023.

He comes to Waterford where he will join the incoming Darragh Leahy and returning Blue Robbie McCourt.

"It was a no-brainer for me really to come down here," McCormack told WaterfordFc.ie on his arrival, adding “I can’t wait to play at the RSC next season. I played a few times down in Waterford, it’s a tough place to go and always packed out, always full, so I can’t wait to get going down here now.
