Waterford Traithalon club member Diane Behan was crowned European Duathlon Champion yesterday in Portugal.
Competing in the 55-59 age category, Diane came home as the winner in a time of 2 hours, 23 minutes and 24 seconds - 26 seconds faster than her French opponent in second.
The event comprised a 10k run, then a 40k cycle, before running a final 5k to the finish line.
Behan previously claimed gold for Ireland at the World Championships in Romania back in 2022.
