Second Silver for Waterford athlete in U.A.E.

A Waterford woman has won a second medal at the International Wheelchair and Amputee World Games in the United Arab Emirates.

Hayley Fitzsimons took silver in the Shot Put with a personal best of 6 metres 13 cms.

On Wednesday the Waterford AC athlete won silver in Javelin with a throw of 17,43.

Over 500 athletes from 50 countries are competing at the event.
