Silver for Waterford’s Hayley Fitzsimons in U.A.E.
A Waterford woman has won silver at the International Wheelchair and Amputee World Games in the United Arab Emirates.
Hayley Fitzsimons, who is a member of Waterford AC, took silver in Javelin with a throw of 17,43 metres.
Over 500 athletes from 50 countries are competing at the event, Hayley is part of a team of 9 representing Ireland.
Hayley is also competing in the Shot Putt and Discus this week.
