Waterford Under-20 hurlers will commence their Munster Championship campaign this Wednesday evening on home soil when they welcome Limerick to Fraher Field.
The Déise are managed by Ballygunner's Gary O' Keeffe who is in his second season, the backroom team consists of Ray Murphy (De La Salle), Michael Ryan (Fourmilewater) and Pa Kearney (Ballyduff Upper).
This year's format is a round-robin one (similar to the Minor and Senior) with the top team going through to the Munster Final while 2nd and 3rd meet in the semi-final.

Last season saw Limerick overcome Waterford in a well contested semi-final at the Gaelic Grounds with the Shannonsiders going on to lift the Provincial title, they were beaten by Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Final.
