Katie Murray is the October winner of the Waterford Sports Awards, in association with WLR and the Granville Hotel.
Murray was the star of the show as Comeragh Rangers created Ladies’ Football history - beating 42-in-a-row champions Ballymacarbry in the Waterford Senior Ladies’ Football Championship Final to clinch a first ever county crown.
Murray was unplayable on the evening in question - scoring 4 goals from play. She finished the Waterford Senior Football Championship with a whopping 10-24 from play.
