On Tuesday's (Sept 21) Waterford at 1 lunchtime news, featured stories on the Aperee Living Nursing Home, ex Waterford Crystal workers are set to protest outside Leinster House, and the draws have been made for the semi-final FAI cup.

• The HSE remained onsite at Aperee Living Nursing Home in Ballygunner as the home was removed of its nursing home registration.
• Around 40 ex Waterford Crystal employees held a protest outside Lenister house over unresolved issues with their pensions on Wednesday, September 20th.
• The draws were made for the semi- final the FAI cup. In the men's competition Cork City will face St. Patrick's Athletics, while Galway United will face Bohemians at home. In the women's tornament, Shelbourne will face Shamrock Rovers and Sligo Rovers will compete against Athlone Town.
