Ireland heads to the polls on Friday June 7th for local and European elections.

There are 23 candidates seeking election to the European Parliament for Ireland South and WLR's Kieran Foley recently visited the headquarters of the Parliament in Strasbourg.

He spoke to some of the sitting MEPs at their last plenary sitting and  found out more about the Parliament itself.
