The village of Kilmeaden has experienced huge growth in recent times, with significant construction of housing taking place.
The influx of new residents has been welcomed locally and brought many opportunities but has also placed an increased demand on services and infrastructure.
This means Kilmeaden has had to adapt to plan for its future.
WLR's Kieran Foley visited the area this week to speak to people involved in business, childcare, politics and sporting groups to find out more about the rapid development of the local area.
