As part of WLR's General Election coverage, we have been accompanying Waterford candidates during their canvass trail across the city and county.

John D Walsh has been an Independent candidate in many elections in Waterford but is now seeking a seat for The Irish People in General Election 2024.

WLR joined John on the campaign trail on the Dunmore Road this week, getting a flavour of the many issues coming up for discussion.
