As part of WLR's General Election coverage, we have been accompanying Waterford candidates during their canvass trail across the city and county.

Fianna Fáil's candidate in the constituency is Minister of State for Mental Health and Older People Mary Butler who is contesting her third General Elecion campaign.

During a canvass in Dungarvan this week, she was accompanied by a team which included Mayor of Waterford City and County Cllr Jason Murphy, Cllr John O'Leary, members of her constituency office, some long-serving party members, and her daughter Jane.

Various topics arose on doorsteps in the town including housing, healthcare and local infrastructure issues.
