The 16th Solas RFL 2024 took place over the weekend of October 12th and 13th in Dungarvan and Waterford City and was broadcast live on WLR with live links from John Keane into the Saturday Café and The Sunday Show. The Solas Cancer Support Centre held the 16th annual RFL and this year saw nearly 4000 people take part across the streets of Dungarvan, Waterford, across the world and virtually. The event was sponsored by UPMC Hillman Cancer Support and media partners WLR.

Across the weekend, John Keane spoke with the organizers, sponsors, local dignitaries and of course those that took part in the event over the course of both days.
