Fergus O'Brien from Abbeyside, Dungarvan is the director of the final 3 explosive episodes of Happy Valley on BBC 1 TV. Fergal went to England to seek his fortune in the 80's and worked his way up to Television Director in the BBC. Having worked with writer and creator Sally Wainwright on Gentleman Jack, she asked him to direct the final 3 nail biting episodes of series 3 which stars Sarah Lancashire and James Norton. He's a regular visitor back home to his native Abbeyside. Geoff had a chat with Fergus this afternoon on the Lunchbox about his very successful career to date.
