The 14th annual Waterford Harvest Festival takes place in the city this coming weekend, run by GIY in conjunction with Waterford City and County Council. Mary was joined in studio by Shona Dubois, Operations Director with GIY, to discuss the importance of the event for local businesses.
Mary also spoke to Waterford entrepreneur and founder of Lovin Dubai Richard Fitzgerald, who will speak at a major Arab Irish business conference in Dublin next week.
And SETU has joined forces with DCU in a unique collaboration, to offer a new Level 9 course in Advanced Manufacturing that can be done entirely remotely and is delivered using VR (Virtual Reality). To find out more, Mary speaks to Programme Director and Course Lead at SETU, David Culliton.
