On The Hot Desk, July 17th with thank to MK Brazil, The Small Firms Association (SFA), the representative body for businesses employing fewer than 50 people, has made its Budget 2025 submission to Government. Mary speaks  to SFA director David Broderick about what its members are calling for.  Accenture’s Women on Walls at UCC will recognize the pioneering achievements of outstanding women and enhance the visibility of women leaders from, or with links to, the Munster region. Mary hears about an open call for nominations for this initiative and as Ireland has a target to develop 5,000 mega-watts (MW) of offshore wind energy by the end of 2030, including off the coast of Waterford, Fair Seas, Ireland’s leading marine environmental coalition has issued a joint statement with Wind Energy Ireland criticizing Government delays in bringing forward the Marine Protected Areas Bill.
