Waterford Treasures 25th Anniversary
Waterford Treasures celebrated there 25th anniversary on July 4th, what an amazing offering it is here in Waterford. Oliver Carroll from WLR's Big Breakfast Blaa went along to capture some of the atmosphere.
1999 saw Waterford Treasures Museums open to the public. The brain child of one Eamonn McEneaney. Now an incredible six museum offering that celebrates Waterford as Ireland’s oldest city.
This amazing offering attracts visitors from all over the world on a daily basis and has won may awards in the process.
Each museum shines a light on a different aspect of Waterford’s past between The Bishop’s Palace, the Medieval Museum, The Irish Silver Museum, The Irish Museum of Time, The Epic Walking Tour, and the mind blowing King of The Vikings Virtual Reality Adventure, plus Reginald’s Tower.
