A litany of wounds, breaks, bruises, and head trauma were treated at the Teddy Bear Hospital at SETU on Sunday, January 25th.
The now annual event is run by Juniors for Juniors to raise funds for the paediatric ward in University Hospital Waterford.
Along with treating the teddies on the day, children were prepared for a hospital stay, and what to expect on the day.
This process reduces anxiety and fear, and introduces some friendly faces from the hospital.
Joe Daly, from Juniors for Juniors told WLR that a new sensory room in the ward is on the cusp of being opened thanks to funds raised.
Dymphna from The Big Breakfast Blaa popped out to have a chat with some of the patients on the day.
