A concerted community effort between the Irish Coast Guard and Meals on Wheels means service will be guaranteed throughout the current freezing conditions.
This comes as service was impacted yesterday in the Tramore area due to difficulties caused by heavy snowfall in areas.
From first thing this morning, the Irish Coast Guard ensured staff could reach the community centre in Tramore.
Furthermore, the Irish Coast Guard in Bonmahon will deliver all meals scheduled for today.
