Listen back to 'The Sorry Miscellany' on Showtime. "So many writers, so many directors, so many reasons to apologise!" You can expect songs, music and the unexpected from Garter Lane’s theatre company in residence along with some of Waterford’s finest theatre makers.
Ronan FitzGibbon from BrokenCrow dropped in to share the details of this intriguing Theatre event. This weekend in Garter Lane on Friday and Saturday Audiences have a unique experience awaiting them.
The audience is sent exploring every nook and cranny of Garter Lane Studios. There's stories and songs based on apologies. From the sincere to the fulsome, the poignant to the ridiculous, they’ve got them all covered.
Performers include Natasha Everett, Gavin McEntee, Rosie O'Regan, Joe Meagher, Andrew Macklin, Anne O'Riordan and George Hanover.
Local musician Killian Browne provides the original music for the performance.
Directors are Deirdre Dwyer and Gavin McEntee.
And - as you will hear on the audio - father and son team Ronan and Ger FitzGibbon are the writers of the piece.
BrokenCrow are a collective of makers based in Waterford, Cork and Kilkenny.
