Listen Back to Pat McEvoy on Showtime

Listen Back to Pat McEvoy on Showtime.

The Theatre season is back up and running in Waterford. It's a busy season ahead with numerous big productions on the way.

Local Arts Critic Pat McEvoy joined me on Showtime last Sunday. Three big shows opened and were performed in the last couple of weeks.

'A New Musical For Waterford' played the Theatre Royal on August 31st. Written by Tramore Man Patrick O'Sullivan this work in progress received a warm reception.

Guys And Dolls  opened in the Theatre Royal on September 6th. Jack Cunningham Productions annual September Music delighted in the Theatre Royal. It had a four night run.

The same night Twelfth Night opened on the streets of the Viking Triangle. This sprawling production took in a large proportion of The Viking Triangle. It was a unique Promenade performance.

Our friend Pat McEvoy was on site to run the rule over all three productions.

Also enjoy some relevant music in between his reviews.
