Waterford head to Croke Park tomorrow to take on old rivals Cork in the All-Ireland Camogie final.

It will be the first time in 78 years that Waterford step onto the pitch for the decider.

The last final they played was in Cappoquin - a game the county lost to Antrim in 1945.

You can listen back to the story of that final here, in the WLR Sport special program, "For the Love of Camogie." Nigel Kelly looms back on the final of '45, the social pressures faced by players at the time and the challenges they faced on and off the pitch in order to play the game they loved.

Closer to home though, this weekend's final is a rematch of last year's semi-final - a game that Cork won - and also a rematch of the 2023 Munster quarter-final - a game that Waterford won.

The sides are 1-all in their last two meetings, with Waterford's win earlier this year their first over the Leesiders at senior level.

Ahead of throw-in on Sunday, the manager Sean Power has been speaking to WLR Sport.

WLR will bring you live commentary of the game on Sunday, thanks to Kiely Gaule financial services.
