Ballygunner were left to lick their wounds following a penalties defeat to St Thomas' in the All-Ireland semi-final on Saturday night at O'Moore Park.

The sides could not be separated after regular and extra time, with the score line at 2.20 to 1.23 after the extra period.

St Thomas' prevailed 4-2 in the shoutout, with Evan Duggan slotting the deciding shot.
