For the 42nd consecutive year, Ballymacarbry are the Waterford senior ladies' football champions.

They beat long-time rivals Comeragh Rangers in the decider, 1.09 - 0.10, with Karen McGrath bagging the all-important goal for the champions.

The victory was anything but routine however with Rangers pushing Ballymac to the pin of their collars right up until the full-time whistle in extra time.
