Kelly Ann Hogan is the new captain of the Waterford Ladies' Football team.

The Ballymacarbry star takes over the role from Karen McGrath for the 2024 campaign that starts on Sunday in Armagh.

The Déíse are once again at the top table this year having survived the threat of relegation last season.

Speaking to WLR Sport ahead of the league curtain raiser, Hogan said she's honoured to be captaining the county.
