Ballymacarbry head to Croke Park on Saturday for their first All-Ireland final since 1998.

The Waterford and Munster Champions take on Kilkerrin Clonberne in the decider where they hope to deny the Galway side a third straight Championship.

Ballymac were beaten by the same opposition at the semi-final stage last year, losing by fourteen points.

Since then, Mike Guiry's side have gone on to claim a second straight Munster Championship while also adding to their dominance in the county, winning a 42nd consecutive county title when beating Comeragh Rangers.

While Ballymac have not been in a final for 25 years, they remain on top of the time list of All-Ireland winners with ten titles to their name.

Former manager Michael Ryan who was at the helm in the glory days of the 80s and 90s has been chatting to Tomás McCarthy with Michael reflecting on some of the good times, as well as some of the bad.
