Sunday's senior hurling quarter final between local rivals Dungarvan and Abbeyside is the talk of the town.

"I haven't seen it for a long time," Big Match commentator Kieran O'Connor told WLR's Lár Na Páirce show. "It's the talk on everybody's lips. It's a game very difficult to call, very hard to separate them. Can't wait for it."

"You have two teams on the up here," said Mac Dara Mac Donncha of the Dungarvan Leader. "There's no fear of one another. A chap from Dungarvan said to me 'if we lose, we'll have to go away for a week!'

He is looking forward to the potential match-ups around the field. "You could see Darragh Lyons on Neil Montgomery, you could see John Curran on Michael Kiely, you could see Conor Prunty on Patrick Curran, you could see Darragh McGrath on Colm Curran. They'd all be very interesting."
