This year’s AgriAware Open Farm event is taking place on the dairy farm of Shane Fitzgerald and family in Portlaw, on Sunday August 20th.
The event will allow the public to visit and see what a working family dairy farm in Ireland looks like, how food is produced and how farmers help the environment.
It's not the first time Shane has showcased his farm -as King Charles visited during his visit to Waterford last year!
Shane joined Maria McCann in studio to discuss his preparations for the major event.
