Did you know that talking to strangers can be good for your physical health, as well as your mental health?!

It is now a well-established FACT that social connections powerfully predict both physical and mental health while social isolation constitutes a detriment to health, on the order of obesity, smoking and high blood pressure.

On this morning's Deise Today, psychotherapist and relationships counsellor Bernadette Ryan spoke on this very topic to Damien Tiernan.

She explained that connections with strangers don't need to be deep or lasting to have a positive impact on health!
