The price of fruit and vegetables are set to further shoot up in the coming weeks, it's been warned.

There are already noticeable shortages across shops and supermarkets but the problems are set to get worse in the coming weeks.

Tomatoes and peppers are amongst those most affected.

According to some reports, the cost of peppers have shot up by 300% and tomatoes are up by about 200%.
