A group of volunteers in Modeligo are hoping a major refurbishment project they have undertaken will be completed by next week.

Almost 100 people in the West-Waterford village have come together to refurbish the old parochial house in order to accommodate Ukrainian refugees.

The house has been idle for about 15 years now, and it's hoped two families who are currently living in the Dungarvan Sports Centre will move in, in the coming weeks.

Aoife Kearns met with members of the newly formed Modeligo Community Development group, who have been busy getting the house ready for the families.
