Barbara contacted 'Deise Today' this morning (Monday), very upset after her Facebook account was hacked over the weekend.

Her account was taken over by a scammer who was selling concert tickets in her name - and unfortunately, a couple of people in her 'friends' circle, have paid money and been caught out!

Barbara had reported the problem to Facebook after her account was initially hacked and her password was changed.

But unfortunately, on Saturday evening, she was hacked again and at this stage the problem escalated.

She has been inundated with queries from people looking to send her money for the tickets, and some had already done so, becoming victims of the scammers.

Barbara has also reported the matter to gardai.

She came on radio this morning to highlight the problem - and to warn people to be vigilant against such ruthless scammers!
