Social Democrats Leader Holly Cairns is in Waterford today for a series of engagements.

While in Waterford, she popped into studio to speak with WLR's Damien Tiernan on a number of issues on this morning's Deise Today.

She spoke about becoming party leader earlier this year, their hopes for the next General Election, and a number of topical issues affecting the general public at present.
