The first of our WLR/'Deise Today' General Election Debates 2024 was held in Dungarvan last night (Monday).

Seven of the 15 declared candidates in the constituency debated on issues such as housing, 24/7 cardiac care, Waterford airport, farming and much more, with Damien Tiernan moderating over the two hours.

The candidates involved were Mary Butler (FF); Matt Shanahan (Ind); Conor McGuinness (SF); Sadhbh O'Neill (Lab); Ronan Cleary (Aontu); Killian Mangan (Ind) and Aaron Joyce (Ind).
