The first of our 'Deise Today General Election 2024 - Waterford constituency' debates took place in Dungarvan on Monday last (Nov 18).

Seven of the 15 declared candidates locally discussed issues such as Waterford Airport, 24/7 cardiac care, climate change and farming, over two hours, with Damien Tiernan as moderator.

The candidates involved were Mary Butler (FF): Matt Shanahan (Ind); Conor McGuinness (SF); Sadhbh O'Neill (Lab); Ronan Cleary (Aontu); Killian Mangan (Ind) and Aaron Joyce (Ind).
